A natural consequence of the ageing process is the development of wrinkles. This is most noticeable in certain facial areas, including the eye region (‘crows feet’), around the mouth (contributing to lipstick bleed), and along the cheek fold (deepening of the nasolabial fold).

In conjunction with these changes, we often experience the loss of facial volume, typically in the cheek bone area and the lips.

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are made up of a naturally occurring substance in the body that are deposited under the skin. This popular treatment offers a simply and non-invasive solution to not only fill wrinkle and lines, but also restore volume in areas that have lost natural collagen and fat deposits.

Where are dermal fillers used?

Dermal fillers are used at our North Shore and Norwest medispa to:

  • Reduce the appearance of forehead lines
  • Alleviate frown lines
  • Fill wrinkle lines around the eye
  • Fill tear trough deformities that contribute to dark circles
  • Recreate high cheek bones and definition
  • Fill the cheek folds that run down from the nose
  • Augment the shape of your nose
  • Add volume to your chin
  • Add volume to your lips

Face, Lip and Cheek Filler

Anti-wrinkle injections can be administered in conjunction with dermal fillers. Whilst antiwrinkle treatments help minimise the development of ingrained lines, once ingrained lines develop, dermal fillers can be effective in treating these. Dermal fillers where needed, also serve to plump up, and re-contour the face to more desired proportions, Dr Reddy’s experienced team of injectors can achieve the results desired for, typically with little downtime—so that you can return to work or your normal activity promptly.
